Watermelon Cultivation

Growing watermelon at home usually occurs in a space of clear land, such as a garden. Well, they come to have a large size, although it can also be done in a pot.

This process does not have great demands, since in both cases the fertilization of the watermelon crop must be given with organic matter, such as compost, and needs at least 6 hours a day of sun, so that it grows in the best way.

In addition to that, this process is carried out between the months of April and May, and lasts approximately between 3 and 4 months so that you can achieve good growth, apart from requiring constant water.

In case of growing watermelon in a garden, you must add a little compost to the holes where you are going to place the seed, and these must have a separation of at least 30 cm. In this way, it is avoided that they do not collide at the time of growing.

On the other hand, the land where watermelon cultivation is carried out must have a good filtering mechanism. Therefore, it is a good idea to create slopes where water can be drained to the side, and place channels to make it easier to collect.
