Hypermarket launches prime barbeque meat line

A merchandise with origin to be tracked by the customer: this is what the recent partnership between Walmart (Barueri/SP) and the Association of Producers of Novilho Prematuro (Aspnp, Campo Grande/MS) proposes. From the Casa da Carne brand, the series of prime roast meats follows the concepts of sustainable livestock, has origin security and can also be tracked by the buyer using a QR Code stamped on the box, where it is possible to find the address of the rural property producer, as well as relating it to the products on the supermarket shelves.

The series is being sold in 8 different cuts (termites, kebabs, rump crumbs, entrecorte, rump cover, tit, filet mignon and skirt steak) vacuum-packed, prepared for grilling. “The novelty combines sustainability, high standards and an adequate price for the end customer.

In addition to launching the inert series for roasting, Walmart’s own brand, Casa da Carne, also offers cuts suited to everyday life. There are more than 27 possibilities, including kebabs, ground beef, steaks, and stroganoff cuts, available inside trays prepared in a controlled environment.
