Guide for organic market investors launched at Riocentro

In November 2014, the National Society of Agriculture (SNA) and the Organic Intelligence Center (CI Orgânicos) released an exclusive guide for those seeking to launch themselves in the organic market. The launch took place at the Entrepreneur Fair, located in Riocentro.

According to the coordinator of CI Organics, Sylvia Wachsner, the guide is essential for guiding organic farmers and for processing agribusinesses, since the demand for food will demand that the agricultural sector becomes increasingly sustainable, as well as the organic production. For her, being organic means complying with the law, especially in terms of health surveillance.

During the Entrepreneur Fair, at the IC Organics stand, Sylvia recommended the firmament and a business plan that included the study of water and soil in the areas where an organic agroindustry was intended to be implemented. Due to direct sales to consumers at this type of fair, an expansion of 15% to 20% per year of organic agriculture in Brazil was noticed.
